Welcome to the world, Charlotte!

I met 6-day-old Baby Charlotte for her newborn session in her family’s home. With those little pouty lips and full head of hair, how could you not fall in love with this cute baby girl!

You might expect Charlotte’s parents, Tammaris and Carolyn, to be excited about her big photoshoot. But the most excited family member was Maya, the family puppy. We knew we had to include Maya in Charlotte’s newborn portraits. And when it was her time to shine, Maya was a total ham for the camera!

One of my favorite elements of Charlotte’s newborn session was a onesie her parents had for her. It had a rainbow heart on the front and the quote “Love makes a family”. As an LGBTQ couple, it was important to Tammaris and Carolyn to incorporate this sentiment. We also included a few portraits of Charlotte in a rainbow wrap.

Tammaris and Carolyn chose a Signature Album for Charlotte’s portraits. Every Signature album comes with a matching display case. With 40+ colors to choose from for the album cover and case, finding the right color combo is a breeze. We were able to coordinate the album perfectly with Charlotte’s portraits. Carolyn and Tammaris selected tan and light pink to match the portrait on the cover.

I had an amazing time photographing baby Charlotte and her family. Congratulations to Tammaris and Carolyn on the arrival of their beautiful baby girl.
