Holiday Portrait Sessions 2016

The RMP holiday portraits this year were jam-packed and so much fun! Despite the slight madness of getting a bunch of families photographed for the holidays, I am absolutely thrilled with every single photo created for this year’s holiday cards and gifts.

To get us in the holiday mood, I incorporated a variety of holiday props and decorations that gave our portraits a nice cozy vibe. Some of my favorites included a few gigantic pinecones, glittery rattan Christmas trees, and a “Santa It’s A Long Story” sign that added a little extra fun to a few portraits.

All of the families showed up looking amazing. One of my favorite outfits of the day was little Logan’s. He wore the cutest little reindeer shirt with vest that coordinated perfectly with his mom and dad for a well put together look.

One of my favorite photos from the holiday session was of little Declan. From the moment he arrived, he was bright-eyed and ready to have some fun. He was so excited he could barely sit still. So we decided to hand him one of the pinecone props. I was able to capture the perfect image of him holding it like a football. He looks exactly like a quarterback looking down the field for his receiver! It was too cute for words.

You might recognize a few faces from last year’s holiday sessions, too. The B family and the M family returned to update their family portraits this year. I am so grateful to have clients who trust me enough to keep coming back to me. And I really enjoy seeing their families grow and their kids get bigger.

I had a blast with each and every family and I know they had an awesome time as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better turnout this holiday season.
