I am so in love with the photos from my most recent maternity session. Victoria & Mike are officially expecting a baby girl and I can’t wait to meet her!
I’ve known Victoria for years—she’s my BFF’s little sister. So when I heard she was expecting a little girl, I was thrilled, and I was even more excited when I was asked to photograph her and Mike’s maternity portraits.
On the day of their maternity portrait session, Victoria was 38 weeks along and the little bundle of cuteness was set to arrive in just a few short weeks. We met at the beautiful Sayen Gardens, in Hamilton, NJ. Sayen is one of my absolute favorite places for portrait sessions, especially this time of year. As you can see below, the garden is full of beautiful flowers, scenic ponds, and intimate trails. Victoria mentioned she was looking for a very seasonal, spring look for their photos. I think we definitely pulled off that vibe!
This was Victoria and Mike’s first professional portrait session, and they were a little unsure how to pose, but by using some of my relaxed posing tricks, we achieved photos that were natural and fun. And not only do they look like they were having fun, we had a blast during their maternity session.
Victoria was the perfect soon-to-be mom. Any photographer would be thrilled to photograph her. And she and Mike might be the cutest couple ever! Check out some of my favorite shots from their maternity session below.
Once their baby girl, Olivia, arrives, we’ll be featuring her in her own newborn portrait session. Stay tuned for the little princess’s RMP debut!
